Agencies get paid whether you grow or not. Gurus sell you the map and wish you luck. I do neither.
I take a small number of founder-led businesses — online marketing, coaching, influencer, and service companies — and go to work inside them. Running the ads, hiring the closers, building the dashboards. Same way I do in my own companies.
My compensation is tied to growth. Equity, profit share, or a hybrid. If the business doesn't get more valuable, I don't get paid. That's the whole point.
